Dorodango

Today, I am going to try dorodango. These are basically Japanese mud balls. You have to get mud with clay in it, and pack it into a ball. Then you have to let it dry while inside of a plastic bag. Every once in a while, you take it out and sprinkle some dry dirt on the top, pat it in, then wipe off the excess gently. Eventually, after repeating this process A LOT, you take a soft cloth (preferably satin) and polish it, and it will become glossy and smooth. They are beautiful! I want to go someday and find different colors of dirt and make different colored dorodango.
